Nginx

Nginx is a web server that can also be used as a reverse proxy, load balancer, mail proxy, and HTTP cache. It is known for its performance and scalability. In addition, Nginx is open-source software and is released under the terms of the 2-clause BSD license. Igor Sysoev originally developed it in 2002. Since then, it has become one of the most popular web servers in the world. As of July 2017, Nginx was the world’s second most popular web server, after Apache HTTP Server. Nginx is used on some of the largest websites in the world, including Netflix, Airbnb, Reddit, and Dropbox.
