Vi is a powerful text editor known for its efficiency and versatility. However, Vim takes this one step further by adding several features that make it even more user-friendly and efficient. For instance, Vim includes syntax highlighting, making it easier to read and write code. In addition, Vim supports many plugins, which you can use to add new features or customize the editor’s behavior. As a result, Vim has become one of the most popular text editors in the Linux community.
